Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about creating the right conditions for your natural capacity to heal to come forward. Just like sunlight helps a wound close or a plant grow, your Self-leadership ( the calm, compassionate center within you) is always there. When we slow down, listen inward, and create safety, your system begins to find its own rhythm again..
The Prism of Healing
I see therapy as a prism, where blended emotions and experiences begin to unblend, revealing the clarity that was always there. On one side are the experiences so many of us carry: trauma, anxiety, shame, reactivity, disconnection, and sensory overwhelm. These aren’t flaws. They’re natural responses to pain, stress, or unmet needs. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and EMDR, we gently untangle what’s been held inside and create room for new patterns to emerge.
IFS & EMDR: Trauma Healing & Rebuilding Relationship with Self
When I use EMDR, it’s always through an IFS lens. We begin by honoring the protective parts of you that have worked so hard to keep you safe. Maybe the part that tries to be perfect so you don’t get in trouble, or the one that stays busy to avoid feeling too much. Instead of pushing past those defenses, we take time to build trust with them, to understand why they’ve had to hold so much for so long. Only when those parts feel seen and safe do we gently approach the deeper pain they’ve been protecting. From that place of trust, healing unfolds naturally, your body starts to soften, your system finds balance, and a quiet sense of calm begins to return.
RLT: Relational Repair & Authentic Connection
In Relational Life Therapy, we practice honesty, empathy, and accountability, not as blame, but as repair. This work often involves exploring how early experiences shaped the ways you love, protect, and connect. I weave in IFS parts work here too, helping your protectors and inner child parts begin to understand and trust each other. As your inner system feels safer, you’ll notice that same safety extending outward: more openness, more courage, and more balance in your relationships.
As the old protective patterns soften, new qualities naturally arise.
Curiosity begins to replace judgment.
Openness takes the place of defensiveness.
Balance returns where chaos once lived.
Healing doesn’t erase your past; it integrates it, helping you move forward with more harmony and ease. It’s not about force or perfection.
It’s about compassion, curiosity, and creating the right conditions for your natural healing to unfold. If you’re ready to begin that process, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
